And speaking of homo ludens…

Vicki got me all kinds of ridiculousness! I have a GameCube! Not only that, thanks to Vicki, I have:
  • Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II
  • EA Madden 2002
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee
  • Spider-Man
  • Pikmin
  • Wave Race: Blue Storm
  • SSX Tricky
  • Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3
  • Gauntlet Dark Legacy
These are all from ebay for my work on the web site (I didn’t ask for any of this, mind you and she got a great deal — as usual). Also, I have Zelda The Ocarina of Time: MasterQuest edition which is the free gift for pre-ordering Wind Walker. And now, a few, brief comments.
  1. This is ridiculous. I haven’t even played all of the games.
  2. Wow! I’ve been wanting to play Pikmin for months!
  3. SSX Tricky looked silly. Of course, it’s more addictive than crack.
  4. Gauntlet has a jester who throws bombs?! Yeah!
  5. Can’t wait for the second controller to get here.
  6. The GameCube interface, sans disc, is beautiful. I am three years old again. Whee!
  7. Damn, that box is tiny.
