Very funny comic strip by David Rees on the War on Terrorism using stock clipart people (kind of SubGenius-y in that way). The dialogue is full of great commentary (“Remember when we declared a War On Drugs and now you can’t buy drugs anymore?”).
WARNING: Irreverent, profane and possibly obscene material is contained therein. An ability to read subtext is required for full entertainment value.
I wish I had seen this when it was first released closer to the original events. Still made me laugh out loud though. Thanks to Drew for the link. He says he bought the book at a book shop, but you can buy it online.
And the web site reads: “All the author royalties from Get Your War On will be donated to Mine Detection & Dog Center Team #5. The men of MDC Team #5 clear landmines and unexploded ordnance in Afghanistan. Here are some photographs to give you an idea of the work they do...”
Read on, brave truth seeker.
Oh yeah, it turns out I went to school with David, too. We dormed at Fairchild. I dropped out though.

Involves more clip art, this time of karate students and a certain ambulance, all set in a karate “temple.” You have to be in, or have, the right (twisted) frame of mind to appreciate. Some experience in a dojo (dojang) helps.
